Paris CAC 40 down by 0.59 pct

France's benchmark Paris CAC 40 index went down by 0.59 percent, or 30.01 points, to close at 5,071.10 points.

Of the 40 selected large companies, 24 lost in the day.

Credit Agricole tumbled by 2.56 percent, the top loser of the blue chips. Techipfmc was down by 1.96 percent. Societe Generale lost 1.69 percent.

Valeo rose by 0.87 percent, the top gainer of the day. Sodexo increased by 0.84 percent while Bouygues was up by 0.62 percent. Endit
