German benchmark DAX index closes flat Wednesday

The benchmark DAX index at Frankfurt Stock Exchange on Wednesday closed almost flat with merely up of 15.35 points or 0.13 percent at 12154.70 points.

Chemical and consumer goods company Henkel gained the most among the blue chips, whose share went up by 1.32 percent, followed by German maker of sportswear and equipment Adidas and automotive manufacturer BMW by winning 0.94 percent and 0.92 percent respectively.

Thyssenkrupp, Deutsche Boerse and HeidelbergCement were the top three losers, whose shares lost 1.89 percent, 1.08 percent and 1.03 percent respectively.

Automotive Manufacturer Daimler was the most traded share with a turnover of 327.95 million euros (347.79 million U.S. dollars). Endit
