Special edition of "Ukraine-China" magazine launched in Kiev

A special edition of "Ukraine-China" magazine, which is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, was launched on Tuesday in Kiev.

The edition features celebration remarks by the leadership of the two countries and expert opinions on the historical path and the current state of China-Ukraine relations.

The publications highlight such topics as the strategic partnership between China and Ukraine, interregional cooperation, trade and economic relations, and collaboration in science and education.

The "Ukraine-China" magazine was founded in 1999 by the Kiev-based Institute of Oriental Studies.

The magazine, which previously was issued on an irregular basis, became periodical this year.

The magazine will cover the major developments in China and the relations between Ukraine and China," Viktor Kiktenko, zhonguhead of Ukrainian Association of Sinologists, told a press conference.

China and Ukraine established diplomatic ties in 1992. Endit
