British stocks close flat Monday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Monday decreased by 0.01 percent, or 0.43 points, to 7,348.94 points.

Share price of Associated British Foods increased by 3.78 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Mediclinic International, Hikma Pharmaceuticals, Micro Focus International and Marks & Spencer Group increased by 3.57 percent, 3.29 percent, 2.58 percent and 2.52 percent respectively.

Fresnillo led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 2.52 percent, followed by Randgold Resources (2.43 percent), Antofagasta (2.07 percent), Johnson Matthey (1.88 percent) and DCC (1.20 percent). Endit
