French shares drop 0.54 pct

French shares lost on Monday, with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 down 0.54 percent, or 27.83 points, to close at 5,107.45 points.

Of the 40 selected large companies, 29 lost in the day.

Aeronautic group Airbus tumbled 1.94 percent, the top loser of the blue chips. Saint-Gobain was down 1.51 percent. BNP Paribas lost 1.48 percent.

Nokia rose 1.11 percent, the top gainer of the day. Pernod Ricard up 0.58 percent. Carrefour was up 0.45 percent. Enditem
