Indian markets closed flat on a positive note Wednesday as investors sat on the fence ahead of Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) monetary policy meeting on Thursday.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 29,974.24, 64.02 points or 0.2 percent up compared to its previous close at 29,910.22. Endit
