Urgent: Latest round of Syria peace talks end, some progress made: UN envoy

The UN special envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura wrapped up the fifth round of Syria peace talks on Friday, saying that delegations have engaged on issues of substance in the latest cycle of proximity negotiations.

According to de Mistura, who has been shuttling between delegations since March 24., the invitees touched upon the "four baskets", referring to the issues of governance, constitution, elections and counter-terrorism. Endit
