Guardiola says Aguero is "happy" at Manchester City

Xinhua, March 4, 2017 Adjust font size:

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola insisted on Friday that Argentina striker Sergio Aguero will stay at the club.

"I spoke ten times about this, you know my opinion. I cannot answer at every press conference about Aguero, He is so happy, so are we," said Gaurdiola at a press conference for Sunday's match against bottom side Sunderland.

Aguero said on Thursday that the club are yet to speak to him about where his future lies, saying, "It is one thing for the club to say it and another to tell me."

"I always said in June it will be seen," he said. "The club can say what it wants but in June they will have to meet with me.

"My intention is to stay but it is a long way away. I have three months to give my best and hopefully we can achieve some title." Endit
