Indian markets close lower

Indian markets closed lower Thursday. Negative trend gripped market after its soaring to a 52-week high during the opening session as investors may have looked to book profits.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 28,839.79, 144.70 points or 0.5 percent down compared to its previous close at 28,984.49. Endit
