Singapore stocks close 0.39 pct lower

Singapore stocks finished lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 12.01 points, or 0.39 percent, to close at 3,096.61.

A total of 2.71 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 2.65 billion Singapore dollars (1.89 billion U.S. dollars). Decliners outnumbered gainers 348 to 166.

The STI index down 8.41 points, or 0.27 percent, to close at 3,108.62 on Monday. Enditem
