Chinese foreign minister to meet DPRK official

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will meet with Ri Kil Song, vice foreign minister of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), a spokesman said on Tuesday.

The DPRK official will visit China from Tuesday to Saturday at the invitation of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, the ministry's spokesman Geng Shuang said at a daily news briefing.

According to Geng, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Liu Zhenmin and Assistant Foreign Minister Kong Xuanyou will hold talks with the visiting DPRK official.

"The two sides will exchange views on the China-DPRK relationship and international and regional issues of common concern," said the spokesman. Endi
