The following are news highlights in Zambia's major media outlets on Tuesday.

-- Zambian President Edgar Lungu has begun a five-day official visit to Israel at the invitation of the country's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

During his visit, Lungu will hold talks with Netanyahu and also meet President Reuven Rivlin. He will also officiate at a business forum organized by the business community from the two countries. (Times of Zambia)

-- Five people in northern Zambia's Kaputa district have been hospitalized following injuries sustained when an earth tremor hit some parts of the country.

The 5.9-magnitude tremor, according to the Zambia Meteorological Department, also damaged some infrastructure, leaving 15 houses collapsed and 27 others with cracks. (Zambia Daily Mail)
