Paris CAC 40 index ends stable on Monday

French stock market index, the CAC 40, ended almost unchanged to close at 4,845.18 points on Monday, down 0.06 point.

The top three gainers were ENGIE up 2.49 percent, VEOLIA ENVIRONNEMENT up 2.05 percent, and SAINT GOBAIN, up 1.60 percent.

The three companies whose stock dropped most were SOLVAY down 1.74 percent, ORANGE down 1.07 percent, and TOTAL down 1.04 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 dropped 0.94 percent to close at 4,845.24 points on Friday, down 46.05 points. Endit
