Dollar trades in upper 112 yen range in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar traded in the upper 112 yen zone in early deals here on Friday, principally in line with overnight levels seen in New York.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 112.67-68 yen compared with 112.55-65 yen in New York and 113.24-25 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. on Thursday.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.0584-0584 dollars and 119.25-26 yen against 1.0577-0587 dollars and 119.10-20 yen in New York and 1.0552-0553 dollars and 119.49-53 yen on Thursday afternoon in Tokyo. Endit
