A China-Myanmar tourist cooperation forum, the first of its kind, will be held in Myanmar's capital of Nay Pyi Taw on March 1 to deepen bilateral exchanges in the tourism sector.

The forum, co-hosted by the China National Tourism Administration (CNTA), Myanmar Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, Chinese Embassy in Myanmar and China's Yunnan provincial government, will be attended by a Chinese delegation with over 300 participants.

Under the theme of "Tourism Cooperation - New Impetus for China-Myanmar Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership", the forum will have roundtable discussions between tourist enterprises from China and Myanmar, as well as promotion events of their tourist products.

Aimed at deepening exchanges between tourist industries of China and Myanmar, the forum will focus on the recent achievements of tourist cooperation between the two countries as well as the direction and priorities for future cooperation.

Both sides have voiced commitment to the facilitation for border tourists and enhancement of people-to-people exchanges. Enditem
