Hong Kong stocks close 0.99 percent higher

Hong Kong stocks increased 238 points, or 0.99 percent, to 24,201 points on Wednesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 23,999 and 24,201. Turnover totaled 92.5 billion Hong Kong dollars (11.9 billion U.S. dollars). Endit
