Chinese shares close mixed Wednesday

Chinese stocks closed mixed on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.24 percent at 3,261.22 points.

The smaller Shenzhen index closed 0.37 percent higher at 10,444.38points. The ChiNext Index, which tracks China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, lost 0.06 percent to close at 1,919.97 points. Endi
