Spanish stock market rises 0.28 pct

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.28 percent on Tuesday to close at 9,510.2 points, up from the 9,484.10 points of Monday.

On Tuesday session, BBVA shares led rises climbing 2.71 percent, followed by Indra A, Merlin, IAG, Melia and Bankia that rose 1.94 percent, 1.88 percent, 1.49 percent, 1.36 percent and 0.84 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Banco Popular shares led falls losing 1.52 percent, followed by Enagas, R.E.C., Cellnex, Iberdrola and Acerinox that lost 1.18 percent, 1.13 percent, 1.10 percent, 1.04 percent and 0.94 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 133 points and Spain's ten-year bond interest rate closed at 1.67 percent, showing no big differences when compared with Monday. Endit
