British FTSE 100 up 0.04 pct

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Wednesday rose by 0.04 percent, or 2.60 points, to 7,188.82 points.

Share price of Rolls-Royce Holdings increased by 5.80 percent, topping the gainers of the blue chips. Capita, Associated British Foods, Persimmon and Taylor Wimpey increased by 5.60 percent, 4.09 percent, 4.02 percent and 3.77 percent respectively.

CRH led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 3.48 percent, following by Royal Dutch Shell B (3.18 percent), BHP Billiton (3.18 percent), Royal Dutch Shell A (2.46 percent) and London Stock Exchange Group (2.37 percent). Endit
