Paris CAC 40 index down 0.98 pct on Monday

French stock market index, the CAC 40, lost 0.98 percent and closed at 4,778.08 points on Monday, down 47.34 points.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed lower on Monday with 38 of the 40 selected companies experiencing decrease.

The two gainers on Monday were AIRBUS GROUP, up 0.08 percent, SANOFI, up 0.03 percent.

The three companies whose stocked dropped most were CREDIT AGRICOLE, down 2.48 percent, SOCIETE GENERALE, down 2.42 percent, and TECHNIPFMC, down 2.24 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 increased by 0.65 percent to closed at 4,825.42 points on Friday. Endit
