A time and date has been set for Real Madrid's Liga Santander away to Valencia which had to be postponed at the end of December due to their involvement in the World Club Championship in Japan.
Madrid's intercontinental trip meant that the game, which corresponds to matchday 16 of the competition, had to be postponed.
Their involvement up to the quarter-finals of the King's Cup knockout competition, meant the match could not be played in January, while the fact they are still in the Champions League further limited options.
The match will now be played on February 22nd in Valencia's Mestalla Stadium, but due to UEFA rules, the match will have to kick off at 18:45 local time as there is a round of Champions League matches scheduled for the same day and games from major leagues cannot coincide with European ties.
Valencia had expressed their opposition to the time as the early kick off will probably mean a lower attendance than usual as some people will still be at work.
The Spanish Football League still has to find a date for Madrid's game in Celta Vigo, which was due to be played on Sunday evening, but which had to be postponed after winds of 130 kilometers an hour ripped a 30 meter section off the roof of Celta's Balaidos Stadium on Friday night and continued high winds made repair work impossible afterwards.
