Spanish stock market rises 0.81 pct, closes at 9,406 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.81 percent on Thursday to close at 9,406.40 points, up from the 9,330.80 points of Wednesday.

On Thursday session, Acerinox shares led rises climbing 4.45 percent, followed by Caixabank, ArcelorMittal, Gas Natural, Amadeus and Enagas that rose 2.94 percent, 2.86 percent, 2.61 percent, 1.91 percent and 1.72 percent respectively.

On the other hand, IAG shares led falls losing 2.04 percent, followed by BBVA, Merlin, Banco Popular, Mapfre and Bankinter that lost 0.99 percent, 0.97 percent, 0.32 percent, 0.07 percent and 0.04 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 124 points as opposed to the 117 points of Wednesday and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate stood at 1.72 percent as opposed to the 1.63 percent of Wednesday. Enditem
