Spanish stock market falls 0.8 pct

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 fell 0.8 percent on Monday to close at 9,304.80 points, down from the 9,380 points of Friday.

On Monday session, Banco Sabadell shares led falls losing 2.63 percent, followed by Bankia, Indra A, Banco Popular, DIA and Banco Santander that lost 2.36 percent, 2.15 percent, 2.12 percent, 2.04 percent and 1.62 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Merlin shares led rises climbing 1.10 percent, followed by Melia Hotels, Tecnicas Reunidas, IAG, Abertis A and Inditex that rose 0.67 percent, 0.30 percent, 0.23 percent, 0.22 percent and 0.21 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 109 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.49 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with Friday closing time. Endit
