British FTSE 100 drops 1.46 pct on Tuesday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Tuesday dropped by 1.46 percent, or 106.75 points, to 7,220.38 points.

Share price of Rolls-Royce Holdings increased by 4.99 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Hargreaves Lansdown,Standard Chartered,easyJet and International Consolidated Airlines Group increased by 3.91 percent, 3.65 percent, 2.12 percent and 1.99 percent respectively.

British American Tobacco led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 3.16 percent, following by Carnival(3.04 percent), Diageo (3.00 percent), BHP Billiton(2.94 percent) and Intertek Group(2.76 percent). Endit
