Four million Bangladesh students get new textbooks free of cost

More than four million students of Bangladesh's primary and secondary schools have got new textbooks on the first day of 2017 as customary to every year.

Bangladeshi Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid inaugurated textbooks distribution program among students at a school in Dhaka Sunday.

The Bangladeshi government every year has been distributing text books among students in line with its promise to ensure a globally accreditable standard of education for all Bangladeshis.

Nahid said though it's a challenging task but there is no alternative to ensure the standard of the education for all.

He urged the teachers and guardians to try their best to shape the young minds as a patriotic, sincere and disciplined generation to compete with the world. Enditem
