Zambia closes year with 7.5-pct inflation rate

Zambia's year-on-year inflation ended at 7.5 percent in December, the country's statistics agency said Thursday.

The annual inflation rate decreased to 7.5 percent in December from 8.8 percent in November, the Central Statistical Office (CSO) said during its monthly press briefing.

The monthly inflation also decreased to 0.9 percent in December from 1.5 percent in November. Endit
