Bomb threat delays Tunisair flight to Barcelona

Xinhua, December 26, 2016 Adjust font size:

Tunisia's Interior Ministry said a false alarm due to bomb threat had on Sunday delayed a Tunisair airliner bound for Barcelona, Spain.

Security personnel evacuated all the people on board the flight of Tunisia's national airline expected to leave the Tunis-Carthage international airport. They searched the plane completely and checked the luggage without finding any suspicious objects, according to the ministry.

The plane then took off and landed safely in the Mediterranean city of Barcelona.

A suspected woman was under investigation, it said in a statement. Endi
