Dollar changes hands in lower 117 yen zone in early Tokyo trading

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 117 yen zone early Monday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 117.32-33 yen compared with 117.44-54 yen in New York at 5 p.m. Friday.

The euro fetched 1.0452-0453 dollars and 122.63-65 yen against 1.0451-0461 dollars and 122.49-59 yen in New York late Friday afternoon.

The Tokyo market was closed Friday for a national holiday. Endit
