Chinese shares open lower Monday

Chinese stocks opened lower on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.07 percent to open at 3,120.7 points.

The smaller Shenzhen Component index fell 0.04 percent to open at 10,330.61 points. The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, retreated 0.16 percent to open at 1,995 points. Endi
