Dollar changes hands in upper 117 yen zone in early Tokyo trading

The U.S. dollar traded in the upper 117 yen zone early Monday morning in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 117.82-83 yen compared with 117.85-95 yen in New York and 118.20-21 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday.

The euro fetched 1.0446-0449 dollars and 123.07-09 yen against 1.0450-0460 dollars and 123.23-33 yen in New York and 1.0450-0452 dollars and 123.52-56 yen in Tokyo late Friday afternoon. Endit
