Boca Juniors chasing Paraguay defender: agent

Corinthians and Paraguay international defender Fabian Balbuena is being pursued by Argentine giants Boca Juniors, according to the 25-year-old's agent.

Renato Bittar told Paraguayan radio station ABC Cardinal that Boca have made two inquires for his client since October.

Balbuena joined Corinthians from Libertad in February and is contracted to the Brazilian club until 2019.

The center-back made 41 appearances for Corinthians this year and scored two goals across all competitions.

He has been capped three times for Paraguay's national team since his international debut in 2015. Endit
