Morocco vows to deepen strategic cooperation with Russia

The Moroccan King Mohammed VI vowed here Friday to deepen strategic cooperation with Russia.

According to a statement from the king's office after he received on Friday at the royal palace in Casablanca, Russian Security Council Secretary, Nikolai Patrouchev, the king reiterated his determination to work, hand in hand, with the Russian President Vladimir Putin in order to strengthen and deepen strategic cooperation in all fields.

The visit of the Secretary of the Russian Security Council to Morocco confirms the depth of security cooperation between the two countries, the statement insisted.

During this meeting, Morocco extended an invitation to President Putin to pay a state visit to the Kingdom of Morocco, it noted. Endit
