Xinhua, December 16, 2016 Adjust font size:

Hungary-based budget airline Wizz Air will begin connecting Budapest with five Balkan cities as of next spring, Wizz Air CEO Jozsef Varadi said Thursday.

The five cities were Podgorica of Montenegro), Tirana of Albania, Skopje of Macedonia, Pristina of Kosovo, and Sarajevo of Bosnia-Herzegovina.

He said Wizz Air had signed a four-year contract with Hungary's National Development Ministry in the day and would begin flying the routes in April of 2017.

The flights will be scheduled for Wednesdays and Sundays, Varadi said, adding that the company expected to fill planes to over 50 percent of capacity at the very start. Endit
