Seoul shares end lower

Seoul shares ended lower on Thursday.

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) inched down 0.22 points, or 0.01 percent, to settles at 2,036.65. Trading volume stood at 586.63 million shares worth 2.94 trillion won (2.49 billion U.S. dollars).

South Korea's currency finished at 1,178.50 won against the greenback, down 8.80 won from the previous close. Endit
