Urgent: U.S. dollar rallies against other major currencies

The U.S. dollar climbed against other major currencies on Wednesday after the Federal Reserve decided to raise interest rates for the first time this year.

In late New York trading, the euro fell to 1.0578 dollars from 1.0619 dollars, while the dollar bought 116.20 Japanese yen, higher than 115.28 yen in the previous session. Endit
