British FTSE 100 decreases 0.28 pct on Wednesday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Wednesday decreased by 0.28 percent, or 19.38 points, to 6,949.19 points.

Share price of Polymetal International increased by 6.41 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Capita, Micro Focus International, Fresnillo and Whitbread increased by 5.42 percent, 4.18 percent, 3.51 percent and 3.15 percent respectively.

Dixons Carphone led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 6.57 percent, following by Barclays (3.63 percent), International Consolidated Airlines Group (2.82 percent), Antofagasta (2.37 percent) and Mondi (2.15 percent). Endit
