The following are news highlights in Ethiopia's major media outlets on Tuesday.

-- Ethiopia and Djibouti have signed an agreement to establish a joint company which manages the Ethio-Djibouti Railway. (Ethiopian News Agency/ENA)

-- The Omo Kuraz I sugar factory is conducting the final test-run to commence sugar production.

The construction of the factory was launched three years ago at a cost of 235 million U.S. dollars. It is one of the four sugar factories planned to be built in South Omo Zone. (Fana Broadcasting Corporate/FBC)

-- The Ethiopian Ministry of Livestock and Fishery has reiterated the government's firm commitment to support foreign and domestic investors who opt for investment in livestock resource development in the country. (Ethiopian News Agency/ENA)

-- Ethiopia has earned 9.5 million U.S. dollars from export of engineering and electronics products during this fiscal year, according to the Metals and Engineering Industry Development Institute (MIDI).
