British FTSE 100 decreases 0.92 pct

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Monday decreased by 0.92 percent, or 63.79 points, to 6,890.42 points.

Share price of BHP Billiton increased by 3.36 percent, topping the gainers of the blue chips. Antofagasta, Royal Dutch Shell B, BP and Royal Dutch Shell A increased by 2.38 percent, 1.58 percent, 1.51 percent and 1.49 percent respectively.

Capita led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 5.27 percent, following by Polymetal International (4.66 percent), Old Mutual (3.44 percent), Croda International (3.38 percent) and Fresnillo (3.29 percent). Endit
