Dozens of Vietnamese workers hospitalized for suspected food poisoning

Over 20 Vietnamese workers of in Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City were admitted to hospitals on Friday after showing symptoms of food poisoning.

The workers of Hung Way garment and textile company in Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone vomited and suffered from diarrhea after having lunch at the company. By Friday night, half of the patients had fully recovered, said doctors at the District 7 Hospital.

Vietnam reported 119 serious food poisoning cases which affected 3,592 people, of whom 12 died, in the first 11 months of this year, said the country's Preventive Medicine Department. Endit
