Paris CAC 40 index gains 0.87

French stock market index, the CAC 40, gained 0.87 percent and closed at 4,735.48 points on Thursday.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed higher on Thursday, up 40.76 points, with 29 of the 40 selected companies experiencing increase.

The top three gainers on Thursday were Societe General, up 4.45 percent, Peugeot, up 3.60 percent, and Arcelormittal, up 3.29 percent.

The three companies of which stock prices dropped most were Klepierre, down 0.84 percent, Legrand, down 0.66 percent, and Vivendi, down 0.56 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 increased by 1.36 percent to close at 4,694.72 points on Wednesday, up 62.78 points. Endit
