German industry production rises slightly in Oct.

The production in German industry rose slightly in October than in September, official data showed on Wednesday.

The production was up by 0.3 percent month-on-month on a price, seasonally and working day-adjusted basis, according to provisional data of the Federal Statistical Office Destatis.

Destatis showed that production in industry excluding energy and construction was up by 0.1 percent in October, and that the production of capital goods increased by 0.5 percent and the production of consumer goods by 0.1 percent within industry.

In addition, the production of intermediate goods shows a decrease by 0.5 percent. Energy production was down by 0.5 percent and the production in construction increased by 1.7 percent in October. Enditem
