Xinhua, December 6, 2016 Adjust font size:

Croatia recorded 16.6 million tourist arrivals in the 11 months of 2016, a 10 percent growth comparing with last year, the National Tourist Board (HTZ) said on Monday.

Arrivals increased by 21 percent in November alone, agency director Ratomir Ivicic said, adding HTZ expected a higher turnover in December.

The most tourists came from Germany, Slovenia, Britain, Poland and Austria, he added.

He said HTZ is planning to promote health, congress and continental tourism, as well as nautical tourism to prolong the tourism season next year. Enditem
