Iran to cooperate with Airbus to produce aircraft spare parts

Iran and France's Airbus will start cooperation to produce airplane spare parts in near future, an Iranian aviation official said here on Monday, semi-official Mehr news agency reported.

"Negotiations have been held with Airbus to cooperate with Iran to manufacture airplane spare parts, and the cooperation will start soon," managing director of Iran Aviation Industries Organization, Manouchehr Manteghi, was quoted as saying.

Manteghi said that preparations have been made for manufacturing aircraft spare parts in the country.

Iran has already signed a contract with Airbus to purchase 106 commercial planes. Endit
