Spurs top Wizards for ninth straight win

LaMarcus Aldridge scored 24 points as the San Antonio Spurs beat the Washington Wizards 112-100 on Saturday, winning their ninth straight game.

Tony Parker scored 20 and Kawhi Leonard added 19 for San Antonio, who are a perfect 10-0 away from home. Bradley Beal had a team-high 25 points for the Wizards. John Wall scored 21 and Otto Porter Jr. grabbed 14 points and 8 rebounds. Marcin Gortat had 10 points and 10 rebounds.

The Spurs, who shot 53.3 percent from the field, led by 10 at halftime and as many as 19 in the second half. The Wizards cut the deficit to 7 points (69-62) late in the third quarter before the Spurs soon expanding the lead to 12 on Aldridge's 3-pointer. Endit
