The China-ASEAN International Touring Assembly and China-ASEAN Media Rally 2016 (CAITA) is experiencing its journey across Vietnam to mark 25 years of the ASEAN-China dialogue relationship.

While in Vietnam, the road show, which started in capital Hanoi, will travel through northern Ninh Binh, central Nghe An, southern An Giang, and Mekong Delta's Can Tho provinces.

Participants and cars in the rally are from China and the 10 ASEAN member states. Departing from China, these cars are scheduled to run along some 10,000 km through eight ASEAN countries within 20 days.

The rally will also arrange a series of promotion campaigns on the lands and peoples of participating countries to stimulate trade and tourism cooperation between ASEAN and China, reported the state-run news agency VNA on Friday.

The first CAITA event was held in 2010. Endit
