Over 40 killed in construction equipment collapse

More than 40 people have been confirmed dead after a platform of a power plant's cooling tower under construction collapsed in east China's Jiangxi Province Thursday.

The accident occurred at about 7 a.m. Total number of the workers involved in the accident remains unknown.

Rescue work is underway.
