Three German-Syrians arrested on suspicion of supporting Syrian rebel group

Three German-Syrian citizens have been arrested on suspicion of providing support to the Syrian rebel, Ahrar al-Sham group, the German Federal Prosecutor's office announced on Tuesday.

Nael A.A., Ibrahim S. and Abdul H. were arrested by the state criminal police officials of Bavarian, Lower Saxony and Berlin with arrest warrants issued by Germany's Federal Supreme Court.

In addition, the apartments of the three detainees as well as two other accused were searched.

Nael A. A. is strongly suspected of supporting Ahrar al Sham group with cash and technical equipment, while Ibrahim S. is thought to have provided two flatbed trucks for the group in Germany.

Meanwhile, Abdul H. is said to have supported the accused Nael A.A. in one case, and Ibrahim S. in four cases.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the accused will be brought before the investigating judge of the Federal Supreme Court, which will decide on remand custody. Endit
