Urgent: Chinese president pledges more relaxed, transparent investment environment

Chinese President Xi Jinping said here Saturday that his country will provide a more open, relaxed and transparent investment environment for foreign businesses and be deeply engaged in the economic globalization process.

Delivering a keynote speech at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) CEO Summit in Lima, Peru's capital, he added that China will further ease the access of foreign investment to its market and create more favorable conditions for foreign businesses to share the opportunities brought by its development.
