Spanish stock market falls 1.63 pct, closes at 8,756 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 fell 1.63 percent on Thursday to close at 8,756.80 points, down from the 8,901.50 points of Wednesday.

On Thursday session, Cellnex shares led falls losing 6.23 percent, followed by Enagas, AENA, Merlin, Gamesa and Amadeus that lost 5.33 percent, 4.78 percent, 4.62 percent, 4.35 percent and 4.27 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Bankia shares led rises climbing 4.18 percent, followed by Tecnicas Reunidas, Banco Sabadell, Acerinox, Mediaset and Caixabank that rose 3.77 percent, 3.69 percent, 3.31 percent, 2.84 percent and 2.07 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 108 points, down from the 112 points of Wednesday closing time, and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.3 percent, up from the 1.2 percent of Wednesday closing time. Endit
