British FTSE 100 decreases 1.21 pct on Thursday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Thursday decreased by 1.21 percent, or 83.86 points, to 6,827.98 points.

Share price of Antofagasta increased by 11.46 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips.

Prudential, Glencore, Royal Bank of Scotland Group and Legal & General Group increased by 7.40 percent, 5.46 percent, 5.41 percent and 5.01 percent respectively.

Mediclinic International led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 15.65 percent, following by Fresnillo (11.01 percent), Randgold Resources (10.26 percent), 3i Group (7.78 percent) and Polymetal International (7.27 percent). Endit
